My live cooking classes feature fun and flavorful dishes that are surprisingly easy to make at home with a bit of guidance.
As we roll dough, layer textures and blend flavors to make restaurant quality creations, I’ll teach you tips and tricks you can use for more adventurous and successful cooking in the future.
Simple By Design
Classes highlight low-fuss, high-impact recipes you can make time and time again.
- Recipes that can to be made in an hour or less on your own
- No fancy appliances needed (tools you most likely already have)
- Minimal cleanup (need I say more).
“Shadia’s class was so much fun, and I’ve actually put into practice a couple of things she taught me! When I forgot to purchase a main ingredient, Shadia helped me with a substitution on the spot… and the meal was delicious!” Stephanie

I loved the live cooking class I took with Shadia! We made ricotta gnocchi, a dish I never would have attempted on my own because gnocchi intimidates me. I particularly appreciated how Shadia was able to help us all improvise as we cooked. Missing ingredients and slight variations in how all of us were progressing weren’t a problem. Shadia got us all to a complete and delicious dish, and I learned some tricks for my future cooking adventures!
I’ve never made gnocchi before Shadia’s class, and it was an awesome experience! The ricotta was a nice spin on the traditional potato recipe, and the gnocchi turned out light and fluffy. It was a total hit with me and my friends! Shadia was a great teacher and super patient and attentive. She adapted seamlessly between a group of 4 of us who were all at different skill levels in terms of cooking. Definitely a must do with your friends and family!
Shadia is a talented, versatile and incredibly creative cook whose hearty, delicious recipes are full of texture and flavor. When teaching, she breaks down each recipe in simple, easy-to-follow steps, and recommends foolproof techniques for the home cook (her microwave crispy fried shallots were magical!) Plus, she makes it all fun and enjoyable. Highly recommend.
I’m so glad that I had the chance to learn how to make ricotta gnocchi with Shadia. I found so much value in having her take me through each step. She was patient and meticulous. Her recipe was simple and delicious, and her instructions were easy to follow. She helped me identified what I was doing wrong in all my previous attempts at making gnocchi on my own. I am now empowered to make gnocchi for my family!
